Today’s ‘6 point plan’ is Labour’s EIGHTH plan for Britain in just THREE YEARS

1. September 2011. Ed Balls announces a ‘5 point plan for jobs and growth’ (BBC News, 26 September 2011, link).

2. March 2012. Ed Miliband launches a 5 point plan to help the ‘squeezed middle’(The Telegraph, 28 March 2012, link).

3. April 2012. Ed Miliband launches ‘Five Labour Priorities’– which was based around the principle of a ‘fair deal’ (Labour Press Release, 30 April 2012, link).

4. April 2013. Ed Miliband launches a ‘Labour Queen Speech’. It said that a Labour Government would introduce laws including a Jobs Bill, Consumers Bill and Housing Bill (Labour Party, Labour Queen Speech 29 April 2013, link).

5. April 2013. Ed Miliband launches a five point action card to ‘rebuild Britain together’

6. March 2014: Chuka Umunna launches ‘Agenda 2030’- Labour’s plan for long-term balanced growth (Labour Press Release, 4 March 2014, link).
