Cambridge United v Shrewsbury 1500hrs kick off – and a Christmas Truce re-enactment

CAMBRIDGE United take on Shrewsbury Town at the R Costings Abbey Stadium this afternoon.

The visitors head to United on the back of a 1-0 FA Cup second round defeat at Preston North End on Saturday. The Shrews are sitting third in the League Two table, two points off top spot.

United come into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw against Mansfield last weekend, Luke Chadwick and Kwesi Appiah with the goals.

There will also be community choirs, a Christmas Truce re-enactment on the pitch at half-time and a performance of Silent Night.

Should be a fantastic afternoons entertainment.
