On Saturday the 22nd Jan at 2pm in the Village Hall there is a get together to discuss the Jubilee celebrations plans. The more folk that can turn up the better. Bring your ideas, enthusiasm and masks.

Thursday to Sunday – June 2 to 5, 2022

It’s not far off – the biggest celebration event the UK has ever seen and Hundon will be part of it!

The Village Hall Committee and the Parish Council have both met this week and discussed how the village can generate ideas, volunteers and commitment to organising some activities for the whole village over the four-day bank holiday and weekend of the Queens Platinum Jubilee.  

There is not long left to get plans in place and we need volunteers to organise and support activities for the village. Funding will be available from the Parish Council and hopefully other sources to hire equipment or buy materials. Miles of bunting may be required!

Anyone with ideas and some hours to spare to get involved should come along to the Village Hall on the 22 January at 2pm so we can make some firm decisions and get plans in place.
