As many of you will know the Co op is planned to be refurbished starting on the 23rd October and will re-open on the 30th November. We welcome an upgrade to the store.

I was asked to attend a meeting with the Co op and representatives of the Clare Town Council to discuss how residents will be supplied during this outage. A pop up store is planned and we have now agreed it will be located in a couple of parking bays, outside of the Co op but not on the disabled slots. Looking with your back to the Co op it will be the first two slots to the left of the memorial island.

We believe that our celebrations for the fallen will not be interrupted on the 11th of the 11th and the pop up store will be removed before the Christmas lights switch on.

Not a perfect solution but probably the best available.
