Each of the LGA’s policy boards are being asked to appoint an Equalities Advocate. Who on earth thought this would be a good use of resources? I was asked to consider volunteering to be one.

What a load of old tosh!!!! Here is the email I sent in reply:

“Thank you for your email. 

I am fundamentally against the idea of  Equality Advocates. They will serve no practical purpose but are likely to contribute to a further slide towards a culture commonly referred to as Woke.

In these difficult times should we not be focused on other matters, for example the economy, illegal migration, the housing crisis and the various wars that are becoming an immediate threat to our way of life?”

Fortunately, it seems the Conservative Group at the LGA agree with my views if the emails I have received are anything to go by. So, who exactly, thinks this is good idea? It has come in since Labour have taken control of the LGA!!!!
