We are blessed with two great local organisation who are devoted to providing support / respite services for those who suffer from dementia.

It was my pleasure to visit Memories are Golden who specialise in offering day care services to individuals living with dementia and suffering from heart conditions, diabetes, and other long-term physical challenges. They are based in Haverhill but cover a wider area. Of course it is often the families who benefit the most, giving them a chance to spend some time on their own to recharge their own batteries. At the Community Hub they not only provide delicious hot nutritious meals, but also arrange a range of activities, in which everyone is encouraged to actively participate.
