A huge new city is closer than we think. Gov consulting already.
The Labour government is already consulting on creating an Urban Development Corporation (UDC) for greater Cambridge. The consultation opened on the 4th feb and closes on the 1st April (April fools). Shocking – A new city is proposed between Newmarket and Haverhill of 370,000 houses. Help me oppose it.
I attended a meeting in the Arts Center in Haverhill last night. I was intrigued to see what is going on. It seems the proposal is for a new city between Newmarket and Haverhill. Not any old city.
