It was with great pleasure I attended the annual meeting of the Cambridgeshire Reserve Forces and Cadets Association forum. Civic leaders from all over Cambridgeshire attended to learn about the incredible sacrifice and dedication of the reserve forces and to offer our support.

It was clear, from what was said by serving officers, that the support from all of us is very important to members of the armed forces. They need to know we are with them as they carry out duties on our behalf.

They must not be forgotten or taken for granted.
