One of the top priorities of the Conservative run Cambridgeshire County Council is to help make our county the best place to do business. We want to attract business and help them grow. Business growth = employment = less demand on public services = low rates.

Key to achieving this priority will be the EZ at Alconbury. Within 24 hours of the announcement of our bid being accepted I was thrilled to bits to be contacted by an Austrian company who want to relocate to the UK. They said that the business rate reduction in our EZ was a real incentive to move.

Cambridgeshire is open for business.
