Yesterday I had a meeting with officers to discuss this fantastic centre. I was able to demonstrate my support for this well run activities centre that provides safe adventure activities for young and old alike.

We need to challenge young people and give them some exposure to riskier activities than just playing on a games console. The sailing, rock climbing and leadership training is an excellent facility that costs the county very little but adds a huge amount to some of our most disavantaged youngsters.

Cash might be tight but this centre has huge merit and contributes to long term wellbeing.
