It was my honour and pleasure to be invited to speak at a Cambridge Union debate on the Human Rights Act last night. It was a lively affair as you would expect with the Lib Dems on one side and us Conservatives on the other.

You can feel the history and sense the great men and women who have spoken at this famous institution.

It seems, from the feedback, that I didn’t let the side down. Phew.

Always good to listen to bright people, what ever their age.
