On Tuesday I chaired the regular Leaders and Chief Officers meeting, held at Shire Hall. It feels like this group is gelling really well. We are trying to co-ordinate activity across all of our organisations to be efficient and get the best outcomes for the people of Cambridgeshire.

We have agreed an information sharing protocol which FDC has led on. This work has been praised as best practice and has a presumption of data sharing as long as it is legal and in the best interests of the individual’s.

I am intending to present this policy through my cabinet so that it is debated in public and subject to scrutiny.
