Last night I had a great time tasting a variety of beers at the beer festival. Great beer, lovely food, a warm evening and super company. The atmosphere was fantastic and as always everyone was in good humour.

I bumped into a number of my old company colleagues including my third hire in my Sri Lankan company. It was good to catch up.

I was impressed with the organisation. The queue was at the river but moved quickly. Within 10 mins we were inside. I think £4 pound is good value for such an event especially when the nominated driver gets vouchers for free soft drinks.

A great tradition. A big thank you to all the volunteers who make it possible.
