Yesterday we had a good A14 steering group meeting. The project is going to plan and with a fair wind might start earlier than the published date of 2018.

DfT continue to work closely with our officers in preparing the plans for the major A14 widening scheme.

It was great to see the initial ideas for the quick wins. These will add capacity to the pinch points and help to buy us time to put in place the full scheme.

A long way to go but a prize worth focusing on.
