Nick Clegg will today outline new budgetary rules committing the Liberal Democrats to more borrowing.

Conservatives have a long term economic plans to get a grip on spending, cut the deficit we inherited from Labour and create jobs.

Because Conservatives are getting a grip on day to day spending we can also invest in things that matter with capital spending increasing. We know this country has spent too much, not been taxed too little.

If we don’t eradicate the deficit and run surpluses in the good years, then that will mean burdening our children with more debt, it would risk higher mortgage rates, and it would put our future economic security at risk.

The other parties just offer more spending, more borrowing, and more taxes. The Lib Dems formed out of the Labour Party and seem to be returning to its policies.
