Defibrillator awareness training

Clare Town Council looks forward to welcoming Community Heartbeat Trust to Clare on Wednesday 16 March 2022 6pm-8pm to lead a defibrillator awareness session at the Old School Community Centre.

Community Heartbeat Trust supplied the defibrillator installed at the Stoke Road kiosk just before lockdown.

The Community Heartbeat Trust will demonstrate the use of defibrillators and explain how the equipment works and its benefits to the community in saving precious minutes in the treatment of sudden cardiac arrest. The more people that know how to use the portable defibrillators installed in our community, the more chance there is of saving the life of a victim of sudden cardiac arrest.

Everybody is welcome, and no special skills are required, just a willingness to play an important role in the event of a medical emergency.

This free event is open to anyone. Please do let the clerk know if you wish to attend (clerk@clare-suffolk.co.uk) and feel free to encourage friends and neighbours to sign up too.
