It is with great sadness that I inform you that Mary Evans passed away yesterday, after a very short illness.
Mary served on the former St Edmundsbury Borough Council from 2017 and then on West Suffolk Council from 2019 to 2021. She also served on Suffolk County Council for Clare Division and was previously elected as deputy-leader of the County Council.
Our thoughts are with Richard, the rest of her family and her very many friends.
