What a remarkable reseult last night. Cambridge, so long held in the grasp of the Lib Dem spin machine, has fallen to no overall control.

Questions will be asked if this is the national effect or the local Lib Dem policy failures. I don’t think it is either. I think this is about a rejection of the continuous lies, broken promises and faslehoods that seem  to be integral to the Lib Dem party machinery.

It is such a shame that the Lib Dems, many of whom are decent enough individuals, have been seduced by the culture of believing that the electorate is stupid and can be deceived by lies and falsehoods.

The lights have come on and revealed the Lib Dems are not wearing any clothes.
