Ubisense is another great Cambridge company. They specialise in making component tacking devices that are used in manufacturing. The idea is that a component that is to be fitted to a car or aircraft can be tracked through out the whole assembly process. This speeds up assembly and reduces waste.
Last night I attended a celebration event at the Fitzwilliam museum at which Ubisense were awarded not one but two Queens awards. This is very rare.
The Lord Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, Hugh Duberly gave an impressive speech on behalf of the Queen. Mark Lloyd, in his role of suppring the Lord Lieutenant, also made a great speech.
Congratulations to a very fine company.
