The morning started with interviews at the BBC studios chatting about the A14 upgrade. Then it was into our first face to face board meeting of our new bank.
Some good challenge of the executive team and a lot of procedure and policy approval. Interestingly, given I am the only board member without any banking experience, I did wonder how my experience would fit in with the other board members.
As it turned out I was fully able to contribute and participate in a meaningful way.
