In a shop at lunchtime I found one of the two salesman slumped in a chair and unresponsive. When we got him to respond he complained of pins and needles in his arms and of feeling unwell. As this was a male in his 50’s with heart trouble in the family I asked for a 999 call to be made by the other salesman whilst I looked after the patient.

Within about 5 minutes a medic arrived on a cycle. His bike was hi viz, he wore hi viz clothing, had lights on his bike and a helmet on. He had kit on board and best of all he arrived several minutes before the ambulance. Great stuff.
