I was approached by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to see if we would be able to host a visit from the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Min City in Vietnam. All costs to the FCO of course.

It was great to have the opportunity to showcase our great county. Interestingly, they seem to have many of the same issues that we face. They were quick to tell me that despite generating a significant percentage of the national income, in the city region, they were not able to retain very much of it. Sounds familiar.
