I’m looking forward to the official launch, on friday, of the Conservative manifesto for the County council elections. We are expecting a good turn out of existing members and new selected candidates.

The manifesto is packed with great ideas and sets the tone for our election campaign. I think it is important that the public are given the opportunity to see what a party stands for before an election.

This is particularly important when it is a local election as so much of what we do affects people’s lives directly. Our manifesto covers many areas and sets the scene nicely for another action packed four years leading the council.

The manifest will be available to the public late afternoon on Friday.
