Victory – Wind turbine proposal for Tydd St Giles refused

Earlier in the year I was invited by the FenRATS to speak at a public inquiry over a proposed wind farm proposed at Tydd St Giles. Along side me were Stephen Barclay MP and Steve Tierney who was the local County Councillor.

All three of us spoke passionately about how deeply unpopular this proposal was with local people. The FenRATS funded legal costs and mounted a significant campaign that appears to have been successful. Steve and Stephen have worked so hard for local people.

I am so glad that local people have been listened to.The Minister has refused the planning application.
