Colin Rosenstiel is suspended from the Lib Dem group on Cambridge City Council over child assault charge – but will still be on ballot paper for party in May’s elections.

This is because Colin notified his party too late for them to meet the deadline for nominations to have his name removed.

The Lib Dems find themselves in a difficult position. Colin should have let them know earlier. Not good.
