I was contacted by someone concerned that the splays at the junction of the A143 and the B1063 have not been cut correctly.

I popped over to have a look.

If you join the A143 from the B1063 and look left the view is obscured by tall grass. It has been cut as far as the bus stop but should really have been continued another 10 meters. I suspect the bus stop is a natural break point for cutting but doesn’t make the junction safe. This is a potentially dangerous junction with speeding traffic coming from the obscured left.
Because of the roads involved I think it is a county highways issue so have asked the County Councillor Bobby Bennett to look into it.
