The weather gods turned against us today. Yet, despite being cold and wet a huge number of folk braved the elements to enjoy the festivities in Clare today.

The official countdown to the switching on of the Christmas lights had to be called off due to the weather. But that did not stop us all enjoying ourselves. Mulled wine, great stalls and a fantastic atmosphere.

Thanks to all those involved with putting on this events with particular thanks to Paul and Christina for organising it.
