As usual, Clare pulled out all the stops to kick off the Jubilee celebrations. The Town Crier and a piper on his bagpipes. The proclamation was read to a significant crowd. Everyone seemed determined to put the last couple of years behind them and embrace this fantastic celebration.

And then into the Town Hall for an afternoon tea to celebrate the work of so many during the covid crisis. Lots of the community groups were represented. Lots of lovely sandwiches and cakes, a cup of Rosie Lee and a chat. With a group playing on the stage time flew past.
