I was alerted, by residents, to a bad smell coming from the Bell Hotel since it closed. It seems three commercial waste bin were “wiffy” to say the least. Rubbish was piling up.

I alerted our environmental health officers, at West Suffolk Council, who in turn applied pressure to Greene King, who own the Hotel.

Today I have been informed that the rubbish has been removed by Greene King contractors. The BIFFA bins which were the main source of the smells have also been removed.

Phew!
