It is important for local councillors to build good working relationships with MPs. I regularly meet with Matt Hancock to discuss a range of subjects.

Today, Matt was out and about with a film crew and asked me to join him at Highpoint prison to discuss the expansion of the prison, take a look at the prison ring road and discuss the resurfacing of the Highpoint Estate roads.

Matt was able to offer assistance on a couple of items that I raised with him.

I am reaching out to James Cartlidge to seek his support in getting the infrastructure in Clare improved. James represents both Clare and Cavendish in my patch.
