New cabinet – cross cutting portfolios

I was able to announce my new cabinet. This is exciting and full of promise but also a sad event as it means some excellent and hardworking individuals must leave the cabinet. I wanted a certain shape to the cabinet based on ability, energy, freshness, experience and team bonding. I have changed a number of the portfolios to be cross cutting rather than acting as a shadow to the management structure. I am hoping this will ensure the cabinet provide political leadership across the organisation.

You might find this short document interesting as it details the cabinet and the roles but also explains the reasoning behind it. Page 1 is the detail and page two a diagram showing the interactions between the portfolios.
