Tessa, my daughter, married Jamie Garner on saturday. What a lovely day. The weather was fantastic and family and friends all had a great time. Often it is thought that no one can ever be good enough for a fathers little girl but on this occasion that rule is proved wrong. I could not have wished for a better son in law.

It did not feel like I was giving my daughter away rather gaining a new son. Brilliant.
